Reporting to the Head of Development – Student Support, the Senior Development Executive will develop and implement plans to generate major gifts for Student Support with an emphasis on outreach, internships and postgraduate support.
About the Role
- The post holder will be expected to spend the greater part of their time identifying, meeting and stewarding current or prospective donors.
- The post holder will manage a portfolio of more than 100 major gifts prospects. The post holder will be responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of potential donors, typically in the range of £250,000-£1,000,000.

- You are a motivated fundraiser with experience of raising at a minimum six-figure gifts and a keen interest in widening access to Higher Education by gaining support for scholarships and graduate scholarships across a wide range of areas.

The successful candidate will be joining a growing church community at an exciting juncture in our history as we prepare to celebrate our 150th anniversary. Key responsibilities
This is role that will sit at the heart of our relationships within the organisation. You will develop our strategies and operational plans for engaging with audiences that are critical to the Autistica mission, including: autistic people and their families, civil servants and politicians, donors, and the press. Here are some key responsibilities:
External Relationships, communications, and policy
- Ensure autism and autism research remain policy priorities, with Autistica continuing to have strong relationships with Department of Health and Social Care and NHS England.
- Ensure we build constructive collaborations and relationships with organisations working in related areas to Autistica.
- Develop relationships with key members of parliament ahead of the election, and post-election (both independently and in collaboration with other autism charities).
- Work with autistic people and families to ensure they help guide or work and priorities and are appropriately represented in our work.

- Help to ensure that relationship management systems are seamless across the organisation.

About the role
This is a vital role supporting the Workforce Development team through the effective coordination of activities associated with a number of initiatives carried out within WorldSkills UK, including the completion of an award-winning pilot programme supporting education institutions to mainstream excellence into the delivery of technical education.
You will be working with a highly motivated and engaging team in a fast-paced environment, coordinating activities, managing resources, engaging with internal and external stakeholders, monitoring progress and evaluating impact. You will be confident in liaising with senior and middle managers in an educational environment and will be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and digital software such as Zoom. You will have excellent attention to detail, alongside planning and organisational skills to support the programme of events which will be delivered both digitally and in person across 2024-26.
Role purpose
The Project Coordinator will proactively support the programming, coordination and management of a number of projects within the WorldSkills UK portfolio, including the WorldSkills UK Centre of Excellence and Network for Innovation as well as the International Skills Partnership initiatives. The successful applicant will work with the Senior Workforce Development Manager in supporting a team of High-Performance Skills Coaches based across the UK.
The post holder will demonstrate excellent organisational, operational and process management skills; have experience of working within a similar setting and be able to communicate well and provide strong and efficient administration to support the ambition and priorities of the programmes.
Key tasks and responsibilities
1. Programme coordination:
• Acting as the secretariat for the internal Centre of Excellence project team and external steering groups; preparing reports, papers, minutes and actions for monthly and quarterly meetings.
• Contributing to the planning of activities/tasks in accordance with the agreed project plan to ensure delivery on time and to budget, raising purchase orders and tracking spend against forecast.
• Coordinating the programme ensuring all deviations from targets (time, money, people, etc.) are identified and addressed at the earliest possible stage.
• Producing requirement specifications in line with WorldSkills UK’s procurement strategies for all outsourced activity.

The Board of Trustees of Deptford X are looking to appoint a new Director to lead London's longest-running visual art festival into its next quarter century. The successful candidate will be responsible for the leadership, management, strategic and artistic development of the organisation, including its core activity, the Deptford X visual art festival.
About Deptford X
Deptford X is a visual arts charity based in Deptford, South East London, we foster artistic talent and nurture community within the borough of Lewisham and beyond. We achieve this through a free festival in Deptford, working with hundreds of artists to locate art at the centre of everyday life for all of the area’s communities, and ongoing activity supporting artists and our local communities year-round. Founded in 1998, Deptford X is London’s longest-running visual arts festival.
This is a crucial and exciting time to join Deptford X; in 2023 the organisation turned 25 and also became an Arts Council England NPO. We are exploring moving to a biennial model and creating more space for deeper engagement and networked working. There is scope for the new Director to being their own vision and networks to the organisation and to take it into the next quarter century in a way that is sustainable, accessible, diverse and relevant.
Job Requirements
The successful candidate will have leadership and arts management experience within the not for profit and/or charity side of the arts, with a strong vision accompanied by excellent management skills and an integrated approach to access and diversity. The right candidate will contribute their strategic and creative vision to leading Deptford X with sustainability, accessibility, self reflection, and creative experimentation at its core. They will bring their extensive networks in the sector to enable Deptford X to build commissioning and delivery partnerships and to remain visible and relevant.
Job Responsibilities
The Director works closely with the Board of Trustees to set the strategic and artistic vision for the organisation and to ensure the governance and smooth operation of the charity and its commitments to funders and stakeholders. The Director will actively engage with the local art scene and wider community; the community at Lewisham Arthouse; and the broader contemporary visual art context in London, nationally and internationally to build delivery partnerships and share best practice. The Director is responsible for putting together the artistic programme for the organisation, either through their own curation or by appointing others to do so. Key to the role is developing fundraising strategies and seeking sustainable income for the organisation. The Director will work closely with the freelance fundraiser, and the Board of Trustees, to develop funding bids and take advantage of funding opportunities as and when they arise. The Director is responsible for leading the small team.

About the Role
Reporting to our Finance and Commercial Director, you will be working to build revenue from the venue hire operation for the Craft Council's Gallery, situated in Islington.
With your great client relationship building skills, you will be responsible for maximising the commercial use of the venue, dealing with all event enquiries, and giving excellent client guidance. You will be dealing with all external clients, existing and new, which will include agencies, corporate partners, charities and other organisations.
All the events will be of the highest quality, with the beautiful space within this historic building being offered with the commitment to realise its full potential. By overseeing all sales, co-ordinating the diary, optimising income received and building relationships, you will ensure the venue becomes a key and competitive player within the exclusive venues of London.
This is about the ability to manage the whole process and deliver against key performance indicators in terms of commercial maximisation and usage, building relationships, managing a team and ensuring the great experience and service received makes clients want to come back time and time again.
The postholder will:
- Be responsible for generating a profitable income stream for a newly launched commercial space in the heart of Islington just off Angel tube station
- Develop and manage the staffing and event operations, with additional resource as required

What’s the role?
The Skies And Seas Hydrogen-fuels Accelerator (SASHA) Coalition aims to unify aviation and shipping to raise awareness of the vital role of green hydrogen and carbon dioxide from direct air capture in the decarbonisation of these two sectors. The Coalition is now well established with 5 exciting company members on the cutting edge of climate innovation. We are now moving into the next phase of work and are seeking to recruit a Senior Director to ensure that the Coalition achieves maximum impact. As Senior Director, you will have the opportunity to shape the decarbonisation of two large sectors: aviation and shipping. You could be instrumental in helping move these sectors to truly sustainable fuels, side-stepping non-solutions like biofuels and LNG. This is a fantastic role for someone who wants to combine their passions for supporting ambitious companies in their climate journey with directing and shaping policy.
You will manage a team of brilliant policy and corporate engagement experts as they work with the SASHA Coalition’s membership and seek to influence policymakers. We are looking for someone who can think strategically about growing the Coalition to ensure it maintains its ambition while increasing membership.
You will report to the Chief Strategy & Impact Officer (though in the immediate term to the CEO during a period of parental leave). The team will be growing over the next year and you will have the chance to direct the growth of the team. With elections approaching in the UK and the EU, you will also shape and execute the strategy to influence the next UK Government and EU Commission.
Essential competencies
