As part of this work, our Engagement Team engages a wide range of people in the Trust’s vision for Gloucestershire, and our Marketing and Communications are integral to this.
We are looking for a Marketing & Communications Manager to develop and manage the marketing and communications function and team at Barnwood Trust. This includes Barnwood Trust’s websites, social media channels and print media, as well as responsibility for marketing and logistics planning for public-facing workshops and events.
Expertise in communications, including delivering high standards of accessibility, implementing organisation-wide communications and marketing strategies, and line management experience are welcomed for this role.

Summary of key duties:
Management of Barnwood’s external communications channels

To engage with a wide range of external audiences, including Barnwood Circle members, potential project partners and participants in our convening and learning activities.

To manage communications and marketing strategic plans, and their delivery for Barnwood Trust.

To coordinate printed and digital products, in a range of accessible formats and in line with the Trust’s vision.

To develop, lead and ensure the implementation of our social media strategy to positively reflect the Trust’s culture and values.

The Marketing and Communications Department
Battersea’s Marketing & Communications department is responsible for communicating the breadth of the organisation’s work in an engaging and memorable way. FareShare South West is the region’s largest food redistribution charity. By joining the growing Strategic Partnerships Department as their Communications Officer, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality, creative resources contributing towards deepening our engagement with our key Strategic Partnership audiences and donors.
As A Communications Officer, you will use your creativity, and bring to life the work we do through online and offline communications, creating compelling copy, digital and media collateral engaging audiences and bringing World Vision into the forefront of people's minds.
A successful candidate will be educated to a degree level (or with equivalent training and experience) in Graphic Design or a related subject. You will be a proficient user of the Microsoft suite programmes including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams. An ability to use creative programmes such as InDesign, Premier Pro, or equivalent is essential.
You will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You will also have the ability to learn quickly, have strong project management skills, an eye for detail, strive for excellence, and deliver under pressure and tight deadlines.
Through your creativity and project management skills, you will have the ability to see something from concept to completion.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Develop and manage the Strategic Partnerships Social Media strategy, including LinkedIn.
- Create and deliver inspiring collateral and donor journeys for key audiences.
- Design collateral which account managers can use to inform and engage new and existing donors with our work.
- Oversee website content creation and seek to improve user experience.
- Collaborate on inspiring donor journeys for events and vision trip experiences.
- Create video content tailored to our audiences which engage, inform, and inspire.
- Lead the sign-off process through the brand team and ensure deadlines are met.

Within this role you will inform, inspire, and engage diverse audiences through compelling communications that showcase the profound impact of our community's dedication.
Collaboration is key! You will build strong partnerships across our Fundraising team, ensuring seamless information flow for targeted communications and identify innovative opportunities to spotlight our fundraisers across various media platforms.
You will equip our spokespeople within the Fundraising team with the tools and training needed to champion our cause in the media. From major fundraising events like the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon and London Marathon, to partner and/or VIP gatherings, you'll provide end-to-end communications support including the creation and delivery of comms plans, utilising multiple channels.
And that's not all. You'll liaise with the press and media, cultivating relationships to amplify our fundraising stories both reactively and proactively.
Utilising your creativity, you will produce engaging written content for a variety of audiences and make use of audio and video platforms to share our messages further.
Plus, you'll collaborate closely with our Marketing team to identify and maximise opportunities to promote our core messages and plans around our fundraising activities at relevant Association-led and partner events.
Hybrid Working Expectations: No minimum requirement for weekly office attendance. However, flexibility to attend in-person meetings is essential.

The digital team at Breast Cancer Now are leading a transformation in how we present our information and services to people affected by breast cancer. We are looking for a digital project manager who will be responsible for the delivery, tracking and communication associated with a number of key cross orgnanisational projects. The role will support with the Head of Digital Transformation in driving and tracking program delivery and ensuring that solutions can be adopted quickly and effectively by the organisation. Events and Communications Officer
Job Title: Events and Communications Officer
Responsible to: CEO
Location: Remote, with requirement for in-person attendance at some meetings and events during the year (travel expenses covered)

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
Events:
As Events and Communications Officer, a significant part of your role will be assisting in the design and delivery of our virtual and in-person events. These include:

o Twice-yearly family in-person events (usually a Saturday in April and in September or October)
o Annual residential camp for 11-25yr olds ( a 5-night residential held in July or August)

o Determining how best to communicate with our families, including the children and young people, to ensure that we provide the support and services they need.
o Determining how best to communicate with our collaborators, including other organisations, funders and professionals in the sector, in order to continue and improve our offer.
o Managing the day-to-day delivery of our social media, emails, website, promotional materials and media archives.
o Keeping our CRM updated and proactively communicating with our stakeholders.
o Supporting our Governance Team with scheduling and meeting arrangements.
o Monitoring the impact of our events and engagement, using insight gained to identify unmet needs, and work as a team to create a plan to address these needs.
PERSONAL SPECIFICATION
