Specialist Harm Reduction Worker
Project 6 is an award-winning voluntary sector drug and alcohol charity based in Keighley, West Yorkshire and Sheffield. Our core purpose is to provide opportunities and choices for individuals, families and communities to create meaningful and sustainable change in their well-being.
In Keighley, we are looking for a Specialist Harm Reduction Worker to join a dynamic and committed team. The individual will have a passion for harm reduction. We are particularly looking for someone with experience of working in a variety of different communities who has the passion, ideas and knowledge to ensure our Needle exchange programme continues to expand and reach all communities across our diverse town.
- To directly work with intravenous drug users and provide evidence-based harm reduction interventions
- To support individuals who are substance users, enabling them to adopt safer practices and reduce harm
- To provide up to date, non-judgmental, confidential services to people affected by or concerned about their use or someone else’s drug or alcohol use

ACCOUNTABLE TO: Deputy Operations Director
GRADE: £24698 (pro rata)
HOURS: 32 hours per week
