Are you passionate about education and helping children achieve?
Prospectus is delighted to be supporting a national education foundation as it looks to recruit 2 Programme Managers to support the development of programmatic work within its thematic areas and priority areas. This is from setting up and managing initial trials of projects, through to supporting the growth of the most promising interventions and project managing the production of guidance reports and scale-up work. Despite the excellent efforts of schools to support home learning this year, many pupils have missed out. As the education sector gears up for the new term, there are growing concerns about the widening attainment gap of 3 -18-years of age.
As a Programme Manager, you will become an expert in some of the foundations key themes advising trustees on what projects to fund and ensure a strong grants pipeline. You will work on grant selection and funding rounds as well as managing relationships with funded organisations. You will also commission research and work with experts to ensure that reports and findings are communicated to teachers and education professionals in a clear and concise manner.
The perfect candidate will have an analytical solution driven approach with the ability to formulate strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders. You will have a strong track record of project delivery with a genuine interest in the education sector. Ideally the candidate will have experience of commissioning and/or delivering grant programmes. Someone with experience within the education sector and an understanding of the issues practitioners face would be desirable.
If this sounds like you and would be keen to learn more, please do apply and the relevant consultant will be in contact.
