Prospectus is delighted to be partnering with a leading London film school, who have been leaders in their field for over 60 years assisting creative talent find their voice within the screen industry. They are now looking to recruit an Academic Programme Coordinator on a full-time temporary basis for a period of 6 months.
The Academic Programme Coordinator will be working closely with the Head of Studies and other course leaders across a range of the schools' programmes, to provide high quality administrative support and continually enhance academic delivery. You will work with academic staff to maintain and update course resources via the Virtual learning Environment (Moodle). Delivery and maintenance of the school's timetable including the coordination of examination and assessment processes. You will also assist with the organisation and logistics for meetings, events and trips for staff members.
The successful candidate will have strong exposure of working within the higher education sector and a good level of experience with using the timetabling software CELCAT (including manipulation). You will be an excellent administrator and be prepared to support all areas of admin, across the school. As you will be the first point of contact for a range of day-to-day queries, you will have excellent communication and customer service skills, focused on providing resolution-based results. Overall, you will have great attention detail, analytical, highly organised and confident with managing variable workloads. Experience of working alongside international staff/students and experience of working in arts/film/TV environment is highly desirable, although not essential to the role.
