Job Description

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join an international educational institution as their Programme Administrator and Student Support Officer, to support the core functions of the organisation's educational programmes, along with providing key support to students.

As the organisation's Programme Administrator and Student Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing administrative support for the MA programme including developing term timetables and booking teaching spaces. Working closely with the university registrar's office, you will liaise on all matters concerning admissions and other related issues as well as coordinating all formal examinations, taking responsibility for examination timetabling, papers and materials. As the Programme Administrator and Student Support Officer, you will also provide day to day support to the faculty in managing their courses and act as a conduit of information from students to course leaders together with overseeing the logistics for academic workshops, conferences, summer programmes and other academic activities. Other duties include ensuring that the organisation complies with the UK Home Office's regulations and sponsor guidance.

To be considered, you will have previous relevant experience in a similar role within a higher education environment along with excellent IT and communication skills. You will be familiar with virtual learning environments coupled with familiarity of Tier 4 regulations for international students. With the ability to work independently and proactively, you will have the confidence to deal with a wide variety of people, prioritise competing deadlines and comprehend complex situations quickly.
