Our client is a leading fashion and design school who are currently looking to recruit a temporary part time Admissions Officer to provide effective administrative support to the team in tasks related to UCAS clearing and student support for 2020/2021. This role is being offered on a temporary basis for a one-month period in the first instance.
You must have the following:
Higher education experience (ideally)
Experience in Admissions/Clearing or Registry
Previous knowledge and understanding of UCAS
This varied position will cover all areas of admissions and clearing, including assisting staff enquiries, maintaining the staff database, as well as being involved in and the first point of contact for enrolment of new and continuing students. You will also be responsible for maintaining student records on databases, creating letters, statements and other documents relating to student matters, collate and submit application data as part of the UCAS clearing process.
To be considered for this role you will have a background in Admissions and possess excellent administrative skills. Organised, with excellent attention to detail, you will have experience in using higher education databases, you will have excellent customer service skills.
This is a temporary part time role, to work over 2 days per week (Wednesday and Thursday) although days possibly can be flexible.The hours will be 8 hours per day, for a total of 16 hours per week. The post will be working on a remote basis and you must be available immediately in order to be considered.
