Those living in the poorest and most disadvantaged communities across Britain are often the ones who feel furthest from policy making. The Centre for Social Justice is an independent organisation that puts social justice at the heart of British politics to transform people's lives by releasing them from poverty.
Since its inception the CSJ has set the agenda for social policy reform, from the the Modern Slavery Act and Universal Credit to tackling local gang crime. We have a reputation for ground-breaking research, big ideas and pioneering nation changing reforms.
We partner with over 400 grassroot charities from Britain's poorest communities, to develop ambitious, evidence-based and experience-led reforms that tackle the root causes of poverty and social breakdown and use our extensive network of political, policy and media contacts to campaign for these reforms to be implemented.
