Prospectus is delighted to be partnering with World Child Cancer to appoint their new Asia Programme Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee four key programmes in Myanmar, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Philippines.
Reporting to the Director of Programmes, you will play a pivotal role in the management and delivery of World Child Cancer in Asia, mostly funded by FCDO, ensuring that their projects deliver on time, on budget and to a high quality. You will manage and nurture key relationships with multiple stakeholders including institutional donors and will contribute to seeking out further grant opportunities within the region, working closely with the rest of the programme team and the fundraising team. You will be responsible for producing programmes budgeting and will ensure that all Monitoring and Evaluation, mainstreaming and programme quality initiatives are fully and accurately costed within in budgets. In this role, you will also support the Director of Programs in the development of country specific strategies.
To be successful, you will have significant experience in managing complex international programmes within the international development and/or global health sectors. You will have exceptional experience of managing statutory funds and successful track record of financial management, including budget management and planning. You will have the capability of designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks and analysing data and you will be confident with programme logframes. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and able to manage and nurture key relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. You will be a great team player able to communicate effectively with in-country staff, donors and local partners.
