We are excited to be supporting Willen Hospice in the search for a new Associate Director of Income Generation, to lead the community and events fundraising, challenge events, and marketing department. This is an exciting time to be joining a well-established, much-loved and values-led organisation as they celebrate their 40th year of caring for patients.
As the Associate Director of Income Generation, you will report to and work closely with the CEO, as well as leading a team of 12 with 5 direct reports. You will be the strategic lead across community and events, challenge events and marketing, and you will also be a proactive member of the senior management team, contributing towards the broader strategy across the hospice. You will work closely with your team to empower them to deliver ambitious but realistic targets and your team will engage supporters and generate income through a supporter-centric approach.
To be successful you will have experience in leading a fundraising team including one or more relevant income streams, such as; events, community, challenges. You will have experience of taking the lead on fundraising strategy, business planning and budgeting as well as empowering your team to be specialists in their areas. You will also understand marketing and will have the skills to develop an integrated marketing strategy. Crucially, Willen Hospice is a values-led charity and they hope for the new Associate Director of Income Generation to add to their culture and work towards their vision to be the lasting and thriving provider of free care to all people affected by life limiting illness in their community.
