Job description

Prospectus is pleased to be working with an international membership organisation dedicated to building a better world through higher education. They are currently seeking an Business and Programme Development Officer to play a vital role in supporting their mission to support excellence. This role is being offered on a 12 month fixed term contract.

As the organisation's Business and Programme Development Officer, you will support the Head of New business to identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with the mission and benefit members, with a focus on preparing new bids for a range of income generation activity. A pivotal aspect of this role will be supporting the development of programme activities and creating opportunities to drive this important work forwards. You will also work closely with colleagues across the programmes and external engagement team as well as external stakeholders, taking a lead role in developing new project ideas and attracting funding to turn them into reality.

To be considered for this post, you will have previous experience in a programme development role preferably in a higher education and/or international development setting, along with excellent organisational and communication skills. Experience of successful grant and bid writing together with proven experience of researching, identifying and cultivating funding opportunities, is also essential to this post
