Prospectus is pleased to be supporting a highly regarded service delivery organisation, which supports people towards a positive future through advice, support and training. They are currently recruiting for a Communications & Campaigns Manager to lead on raising the organisation's profile through greater positive external engagement and publicity.
Reporting into the Communications Manager, the role will work across the organisation to generate meaningful content and opportunities but will work closest with the Fundraising and Communication Team. You will weave brilliant communications and campaigns support into their engagement and supporter strategies, driving greater awareness and widening audiences. To achieve this the Campaigns and Publicity Manager will develop strategies, identify messages, source materials, create compelling case studies and provide the digital and media liaison to the drives. Furthermore, you will also be tasked with devising and implementing local publicity campaigns to drive regional growth. For success in this pivotal role you will be required to stay in touch with and be aware of news and developments in relevant policy areas and utilise your excellent media and PR skills and handle queries and develop opportunities to raise the profile. Deputising for the Senior Communications Manager where necessary will also be a key responsibility.
The successful candidate will be an experienced campaigns and communications professional who comfortably engages support, influences change and raises profile. Strong digital skills and the ability to use social media platforms in an effective way will be essential. As a team player you will work smoothly across internal teams to enhance campaigns and will thrive when working externally with the media, people in the public eye and other partner organisations and government in the ecosystem. Essential for the next Campaigns and Publicity Manager is the ability to synthesize and transform complex issues into a clear message for the public. Experience of working in a service orientated organisation would be advantageous as there is a higher requirement for safeguarding through the content development cycle.
