The Sustainable Restaurant Association serve as the intersection of the foodservice industry and the sustainable food movement. Through both their industry standard sustainability rating and their bespoke consultancy, training and support the SRA help food businesses become more sustainable. Their membership covers a smorgasbord of foodservice businesses, from high end to high street, from street-food staples to workplace canteens, from independent cafés to Michelin-starred restaurants.
The Sustainable Restaurant Association now seeks an established Chair to lead the board and ensure it provides governance of the highest quality and rigour as the organisation enters an exciting new phase of growth.
The new Chair will bring the gravitas and credibility required to lead a high performing board. You will share the motivation and values of the Sustainable Restaurant Association and be able to foster effective working relationships with the rest of the board and CEO.
You will bring considerable senior leadership and governance experience from within an organisation of scale and complexity and feel comfortable in a public facing ambassadorial role.
