WHATEVER IT TAKES will break the destructive cycle of children and young people committing crimes so that, instead, they make a positive contribution to our society and build better lives for themselves.
This newly established organisation has been founded by four of the UK's leading innovators in social policy, all of whom have an exceptional track record of turning an initial concept into concrete change. It offers a radical blueprint for challenging the way services are designed and delivered that will produce dramatically improved outcomes at significantly lower costs.
During these unprecedented times, the need for guidance and assistance for our children and young people will be greater than ever. This is why it is vital that we continue recruitment for this critical position despite the current global pandemic.
Whatever It Takes
Salary commensurate with the role
We are seeking the person who is going to drive WIT. You are an outstanding leader who is deeply committed to delivering WIT for the children and young people who need it most. You are a dynamic, thoughtful and talented entrepreneur. You seek responsibility and inspire others to succeed. You are comfortable with ambiguity, able to shift and change with ease as WIT grows. Others look to you for guidance and inspiration. You are a risk-taker, and those risks pay off. You will scale WIT to a financially sustainable national model for delivering exceptional outcomes for children and young people. In doing so, you will become a leading national authority on how to solve one of society's most harmful and costly problems.
You will be the first full time employee at WIT and you will build a team around you that can deliver the first WIT teams within a year. You will be the face of the organisation raising money, building support and promoting the vision. The Director of Practice will be your first direct report and alongside them you will ensure that the WIT teams are set up for success, delivering excellent quality programmes and able to rapidly learn from mistakes. WIT's board want you to grow WIT into a successful national organisation over the next five years.
