A new opportunity has arisen for a temporary Communications Assistant to provide key support to the department's Communications Officer and the organisation's wider communications team.
As the Communications Assistant, you will assist with the management of social media and frequent newsletter outgoings and generate website content. The role will also involve copywriting. The post holder will provide support for new and upcoming projects, as well as assist with campaign research.You will also liaise with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels in order to source and share content.
In order to be considered for this post, you will have previous communications and marketing experience, preferably within a higher education environment. You will also have a thorough understanding of communications within a digital space including online and social media. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, together with excellent editing and proofreading skills.
