Prospectus is delighted to be supporting St George's Hospital Charity as they look to appoint their new Communications and Marketing Manager. This is a permanent role and will be based at St George's Hospital with some home working.
St George's Hospital Charity is one of the largest NHS charities across the country supporting their local hospitals and healthcare services to provide services above those normally provided by the NHS. The Charity has been embracing exciting new opportunities and increasing its impact since it became fully independent of the NHS in 2017 and is ambitious to achieve even more from 2021 onwards.
During Covid, the Charity has raised in excess of £1m in support of staff and patients and received grants of £1.3m from NHS Charites Together.
Today the Charity works hand in glove with the St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to fund a range of projects, research, equipment and services which enhance the experience of patients, of staff, and the wider community over and above the NHS provision.
The Communications and Marketing Manager is a broad and varied role and will play a vital part within the organisations by managing communications, brand and marketing campaigns and telling the story of the organisation's impact on patients and staff. For this exciting role we are looking for an ambitious and committed individual to help support and raise the profile of the amazing work St George's Hospital Charity do.
To be successful in this position, you might have significant experience in a similar marketing and communications position with the ability to craft impassioned and engaging stories. You will be able to create a range of marketing collateral such as press releases, campaigns and case studies. You will be an excellent communicator to inspire and enlist support from a variety of internal and external stakeholders. You will also have a good working knowledge of current digital communications channels and the ability to report on the impact of the organisation across these.
