Prospectus is pleased to be working with Citizens Advice and assisting their search for a Communications Assistant. Citizens Advice is a free service supported by a huge network of charities that provides advice and support on a huge range of topics from work and benefits to family and immigration.
The overall purpose of this role is to assisting with story capture, writing and editing content, liaising with stakeholders and preparing drafts for presentations. You will also prepare client surveys, support with their data analysis, draft press releases and organise the Twitter and Facebook pages. Working with the ICT team to upload information to the web portal, setting up email and webchat and upgrading remote working equipment is also part of this role.
To be successful as a Communications Assistant, it is essential to have proven communications experience, including maintaining websites and social media and writing blogs and newsletters. You will have a clear, concise and engaging communication style and an interest in all things digital.
