A new opportunity has arisen for a temporary Communications Officer to provide key support to the department and the organisation's wider communications team.
As the department's Communications Officer, you will assist with delivering external communications activity to raise global brand awareness, as well as internal communications and stakeholder engagement. You will help to deliver, promote and evaluate the team's growing range of internal and external communications. You will be involved in producing materials for global audiences, including, but not limited to, e-newsletters, websites, multimedia, social media, and printed materials, as well as events, through the provision of editorial support and assistance with routine tasks.
In order to be considered for this post, you will have previous communications experience, preferably within a higher education environment. You will also have a thorough understanding of communications within a digital space including online and social media. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, together with excellent editing and proofreading skills.
