Prospectus is excited to be working with Blue Ventures to help them search for a Conservation Grants Manager
for a newly created position in their Bristol office. Blue Ventures is a truly brilliant, award winning marine and costal community charity that is focused on rebuilding fisheries, creating sustainable ways of life and promoting gender equality.
This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis paying £32,000 to £37,000 per annum to be based in their Bristol Office with occasional international travel to visit the programme teams.
The post holder will liaise with established trust, foundation and statutory donor contacts to report on the over 70 active grants that Blue Ventures has, most of which are multi-year or likely to be repeated. The Conservation Grants Manager will advise and provide technical expertise on statutory and other large grant applications, including making contact with some donors. One the key parts to this position will be advising on-the-ground programme teams about the nature of the restrictions on the grants they have and be tied to the Madagascar team with training, advice and stewardship to build up their fundraising team.
They are looking for someone who is good at report and bid writing with an understanding of conservation. As this position holds a number of internal and external relationships, having someone with a balanced view point and good at managing lots of relationships will be essential.
