Job description

Our client is a national advocacy charity whose mission it is to enable people who face disadvantage or discrimination to strengthen their voices, champion their rights and change their lives. They are now recruiting a skilled Contract Manager, to manage contracts, analyse data and ensure contract performance and fulfilment for our client's services across the North East of England.

As our client's new Contract Manager, you will manage contracts by analysing and interrogating complex data (including that of sub-contractors), identifying risks and opportunities and developing and implementing actionable steps to improve contract processes and optimise results. You will assess organisational and commissioner needs, by seeking out and analysing robust financial/performance intelligence in order to identify areas of risk or improvement. You will communicate significant contract analysis with strong attention to detail, identifying meaningful trends and opportunities across contract delivery. You will provide strong and timely financial and business analytic decision support to key internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating exceptional financial, analytical and communication skills.

To apply for this role, you must have significant experience of analysing complex data sets, and a strong understanding of all aspects of contract performance and fulfilment. You will have extensive experience of analysing contract or procurement relationships for multiple services with an income of circa 2million, and will have demonstrable experience of influencing ways to improve contract performance or equivalent. You will have exceptional financial literacy and IT skills, and will have the ability to interpret and deliver concise reports, influencing others through accurate data reporting. Overall, you will be a strong, analytical Contract Manager, skilled at articulating corporate decisions, and translating concrete analytical findings in to contract performance.
