Prospectus are delighted to be supporting Make-A-Wish UK in their search for a Corporate and New Business Development Lead, 12-month maternity cover. Make-A-Wish UK are a truly inspiring organisation, granting life changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

As the Corporate and New Business Development Lead, you will join a well-established team of four, taking the lead in supporting existing partnerships and developing new business with high value corporate partners. Working towards a team target £2.5m, you will develop engaging proposals and plans for new partners that have a mutual benefit. This could be Charity of The Year partnerships, Gift-in-Kind, or strategic brand partnerships, and ideally in a multi-year capacity. You will also work closely with the Director of Income and Engagement to develop and implement a major appeal strategy, that will engage a range of high value donors including corporate partners and major donors.

To be successful in this Corporate and New Business Development Lead opportunity, you will have proven experience in securing new high value partnerships and working towards a new business target of £250k-£500k. You will have previous line management experience and be able to advocate for the team within the wider organisation. Ideally this person will have also worked on delivering wider fundraising appeals, with the view to engage new high value relationships across both corporate and major gifts.
