Our client, a dynamic and outward facing university college, is currently looking for a Development and Stewardship Officer to provide key administrative support to the wider development and alumni department.
As the organisation's Development and Stewardships Officer, you will be responsible for the running of the development department's administrative, financial and database requirements, which support fundraising stewardship and alumni engagement within the college. The post holder will play an integral role in managing all income and donations to the department, coupled with responsibility for database administration and maintenance. You will work collaboratively with the finance department and directors to assist with the stewardship of donors, ensuring the effective delivery of a dedicated stewardship programme for key groups of supporters. Providing key support to the department, you will deal with routine correspondences and enquiries from colleagues, prospects and key stakeholders, along with coordinating and facilitating regular office meetings.
The successful candidate will have substantial administration experience. You will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels. Working independently and proactively, you will have the confidence to deal with a wide variety of enquiries, prioritise competing deadlines, and utilise your great IT and organisational skills, including the use of MS office packages. CRM management experience is desirable although not essential to this post. This role would be well suited to an individual looking to further develop their skills and experience, with the opportunity to progress within the organisation.Â Due to the nature of this post, you may be required to work occasional evening and/or weekends.
