Job description

Prospectus are excited to be working with Anglia Ruskin University to help them recruit for a new permanent Development Manager (Major Gifts). ARU is a university in East Anglia for Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree courses with campus' in Chelmsford, Cambridge, Peterborough and London.  
   
This role is offered on a full-time permanent basis paying £32,817 per annum to be based in Chelmsford, Cambridge or Peterborough with flexible and home working options available.  
   
The post holder will oversee the development and maintenance of new and existing donor relationships, focusing on major gift activity to secure philanthropic income. Working alongside the Head of Fundraising, the post holder will conduct research to identify, qualify and cultivate prospects and work as part of a team to build relationships and develop gifts.  
   
They are looking for a major gifts fundraiser with a demonstrable track record of success and an ability to work in a small team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with alumni and an understanding of higher education in the UK.
