Prospectus is delighted to be partnering with Kinship, the leading kinship care charity in England and Wales.

Kinship works to inform, support and empower all kinship carers, providing tailored support (both in home and community settings), and connecting carers via their national community and local support groups. They also support professionals to understand kinship families and improve support for them, and research and campaign for continued systemic change.

At an exciting time of growth, Kinship is now looking to appoint a Digital Project Manager (4 days a week), to lead on the delivery of digital elements for their new transformational Peer-to-Peer Support Service.

Funded by the Department for Education, the Peer-to-Peer Support Service is a new £1 million national initiative, delivering peer support groups for kinship carers through face to face and digital channels.

This is a game changing service for kinship carers and builds on Kinship's 10 years' experience of developing peer support groups, as well as a successful pilot of a regional support group network model in the North East.

There are strong digital ambitions across the organisation and this is a key position to bring those to life.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Peer Support, you will lead on the management of the digital project to enhance peer support groups with an accessible peer support digital microsite e-Learning platform and online peer support chat You'll also facilitate an online booking system to give kinship carers access to free online workshops.

Utilising a user centric approach, you will co-produce the digital elements with an external digital agency that reflects the needs and purpose of the kinship carers and peer support team. Ultimately, the role will coordinate the delivery of a variety of digital functions, including a sustainable and long lasting searchable online microsite for support groups and e-Learning for volunteer Support Group Leaders. Alongside that delivery will be the employment of relevant digital KPIs, project management methodology and excellent stakeholder engagement.

About you:

This is a unique opportunity for a highly organised, curious and collaborative digital expert to drive the digital delivery of a new, transformational support service.

To apply for this role, you will have a proven track record of managing complex digital projects (including websites), from within the sector or commercially and you will have a passion for designing SEO and user-centric products that work.

You will be someone who thrives in co-production and building robust and useful relationships to achieve project success.
