Director of Finance and Systems
The Mental Health Foundation is in great shape, having grown significantly in recent years, with talented people experts in mental health, sound finances and an engaged Board of Trustees. Ambitious to increase our reach and impact, we are embarking on our next chapter with a new strategy for 2020-2025 and have the financial resources to achieve a transformation in our work to achieve this aim.
Working in close partnership with the CEO, Senior Management Team, staff and Board, the Director of Finance and Systems will drive excellence through the effective management of the Finance Team whilst taking the strategic lead on how we allocate our surplus resources, bringing a vision for how finance, systems and technology can be harnessed more effectively in support of our mission.
We are looking for an exceptional, fully qualified finance professional with demonstrable experience of successful strategic and operational financial management within a social purpose organisation. You will be naturally collegiate and authentic and will bring consolidated experience of building and maintaining successful professional relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Having developed well rounded interpersonal and communication skills, you will be highly adept at inspiring, empowering and building high performing teams that act as an enabler for their organisation. Demonstrating a commitment to our values, ways or working and mission will be essential.
