East End Community Foundation (EECF) brings donors closer to the people and organisations they seek to help. For 30 years, EECF has made charitable giving simple, effective, and meaningful.
EECF's grant programme cover the Boroughs of Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Newham with their three current campaigns focused on Elder Isolation, Youth Development and the Digital Divide. Through the course of 2020 EECF increased giving substantially to meet the needs of people who live in the area and are continuing to support people across the East End with a well develop grant making programme to grass roots charities.
The newly created role of Director of Development & Communications will develop, implement and achieve EECF's income strategy, increasing the reach and profile of the organisation amongst existing and potential donors.
Director of Development & Communications
£60,000 - £65,000 per annum
As the Director of Development & Communications, you will craft and implement a long-term income generation strategy, with a focus on individual and corporate philanthropy from donors in the East End, Canary Wharf, the City as well as other areas of the capital. You will lead on communications for EECF, build a new Fundraising Development Board, be a proactive member of the Senior Leadership Team, and effectively balance the strategic and operational responsibilities of your team.
In this role you will deputise for EECF's Chief Executive and over time be given the chance to expand your brief and grow as a senior professional.
