The new Director of Fundraising will provide leadership and direction on all aspects of the British Asian Trust's income generating strategy. You will lead a dedicated and high performing team across fundraising disciplines and will work smartly and efficiently to ensure opportunities for major and principal gifts to the work of the British Asian Trust are stewarded and secured. Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will be a member of the Senior Management Team and will drive forward innovative fundraising relationships to fuel sustainable income growth.

As the Director of Fundraising, you will have experience in and extensive knowledge of philanthropy and major donor fundraising, providing demonstrable experience in your application of personally soliciting six or seven figure gifts. You'll enjoy and also have experience of working with high-level volunteers and trustees and will be comfortable designing and delivering bespoke fundraising plans to senior leaders in the commercial sector. The Director of Fundraising will be comfortable taking calculated risks within fundraising and will ideally have a track record of innovation and new ideas within fundraising. Crucially, we are looking for someone with experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and someone who will thrive within this way of working.
