Job description

Are you an inspiring, enthusiastic Informal Educator; who is strategic and can think outside of the box to build a sustainable future of youth programming for the Reform Judaism community?

Prospectus is delighted to be working on behalf of a beyond profit organisation based in North London for the recruitment of an inspiring new Director of Informal Education.

As Director of Informal Education you will lead on the development and implementation of existing and new creative models that raise youth engagement and participation nationally. You will facilitate and empower the delivery of high quality, inclusive, informal educational provision and will enable your staff, as well as volunteers and youth partners from the wider community, to do the same.

To apply for this role, you must have demonstrable managerial experience, with the ability to nurture staff and young people in a warm and supportive manner. You must be a skilled communicator, comfortable working in partnership with a variety of stake-holder organisations for the benefit of programmatic success, ideally with experience of holding a large budget (c £1.5 million). Moreover, to be successful in this role, it is essential that the right candidate has an understanding and knowledge of Jewish informal education.

To register your interest and find out more about this exciting opportunity, please initially attach your CV in Word Doc format; suitable candidates will then be contacted and requested to complete an application form.

This position requires occasional evening and weekends at a North London organisation that embraces flexible working.
