Job description

Prospectus is pleased to be collaborating with a female-only charity, who provide emotional and practical support to women experiencing domestic violence and/or abuse. A large part of their work is crisis intervention, working with women who require urgent help and face imminent danger. They are now seeking an experienced and dynamic Domestic Violence Programme Manager to lead the delivery of their co-located programmes across the Tri-Borough.

As a Domestic Violence Programme Manager for the organisation, you be responsible for managing the quality and delivery of co-located VAWG projects and partnerships. Reporting to the Director, you will lead a specialist team of team managers and frontline workers, including IDVAs in Social Care, Housing and Criminal Justice settings, to ensure that the level of service provided to beneficiaries is of the highest standard, within funders' requirements and meets the charity's expectations and key performance indicators. Focussed on developing and maintaining relationships with relevant key stakeholders, you will represent the organisation at meetings and support the development of strategic plans, ensuring the sustainability, development and delivery of services is effective and efficient.

This is a pivotal role for our client and as such, significant knowledge of the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) sector, and the issues relating to it is essential. You must have significant managerial experience of developing and delivering a range of social care projects for those with high support needs, and of working operationally and strategically within an organisation to develop its vision, strategy and business plan. You must be a strong manager, confident in leading multiple-teams in dispersed locations, and a skilled networker with extensive experience of building effective partnerships across the sector.

Please initially apply with a Word formatted version of CV - further information will be provided to shortlisted candidates.

This post is open to female applicant only as being female is deemed to be a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
