Our client, a leading London university is currently looking to recruit a temporary Employer Relations Manager for up to six months, and will eventually look to recruit the post on a permanent basis. In this fast paced and varied role, the focus will be to increase the opportunities for the employment of the school's 2000 students, through building and developing solid relationships within the Technology, Media and Telecommunications industry.
As their Employer Relations Manager, you will lead on overseeing events both online and virtual, and promoting these to MSc and MBA students, along with alumni. Key responsibilities will include:
- Events Management - Organise and deliver a number of employer events, particularly in September and October
- Employer Development - Identify, recruit and develop relationships with employers through virtual/personal visits, telephone and email communication.
- Marketing and Communications - Facilitate the marketing of the university to potential employers
- Alumni Development - Working with the Alumni relations team, in the delivery of a new strategy for engaging with alumni as potential employers for students
To be successful in this position, you will have previous experience of events management, along with developing new client relationships through a range of business development. Previous experience of graduate recruitment, or higher education career services would be advantageous. You will have a proven customer approach to working with both qualitative and quantitative targets. You will be a consummate professional, extremely well-organised and proactive, and used to thinking ahead.
This position is being offered on a full time temporary basis to start around mid-August on a part remote, part office basis, so you will need to be available to meet these times frames
