Commercial Education Trust (CET) is an independent charity which believes commercial education is essential to the development of young people so they can thrive both at work and within society more widely.
They support programmes which build the knowledge, skills, understanding and capabilities of young people so that they can prepare for employment, self-employment and enterprise.

Responsible for: Operations Director and Grant Administrator
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 full time equivalent for 3 days per week
The Commercial Education Trust's goal is to invest in initiatives which help young people learn new skills; successfully apply these skills to the world of work; and achieve prosperous and rewarding lives. More than £3.5 million has been invested through grant-making and other activities to date.
The Executive Director position is the most senior member of CET's staff team and holds responsibility for leading and developing CET's strategy and impact through its grant making, engagement, advocacy and partnership efforts. Working closely with the Trustee Board, you will have responsibility for developing programmes, partnerships and networks to build CET's influence and meet its strategic vison and goals.
Critical to the role is a commercial mindset, an entrepreneurial outlook and a detailed knowledge of the UK education sector. You will have significant experience of identifying and developing strategic partnerships and developing new initiatives that can facilitate and amplify CET's strategic mission.
