The Global Steering Group for Impact Investment is a bold organisation with an ambition to make impact investment mainstream in order for it to become a key tool in addressing fundamental environmental and social challenges around the world on an unprecedented scale. They are small, nimble, ambitious and truly global. Based in London, and with staff in New Delhi and Paris, the GSG is chaired by Sir Ronald Cohen and brings together leaders from the worlds of business, finance, philanthropy and NGOs. They are now looking to appoint a Fundraising Associate at an exciting time of development for the organisation.
The Fundraising Associate will research and advise on strategy with current and potential funders and investors which will include corporates, foundations, and philanthropists. You will complete donor reports and update donors on progress of particularly projects and will work across the organisation to ensure accurate data is included on the database and relationship progress is tracked as accurately as possible. Reporting to the Chief Funds Officer, the Fundraising Associate will also be comfortable preparing reports for committee meetings and board meetings as well as developing their own personal portfolio of funders.
The selected candidate will have a strong understanding of the funding ecosystem across the globe and will understand motivations within the grant-making and fundraising sectors. You will be an analytical professional with a background in prospect research and ideally donor-facing work too.The selected will enjoy researching opportunities, developing engagement strategies, and building relationships with colleagues across the globe.
