Prospectus is excited to be working with Consumers International on a newly created interim position to help them build their voluntary income as a Global Development Advisor. Consumers International work with their members and partners, across national borders to address critical, systemic global issues that impact and involve consumers. Representing and empowering consumers, they are their voice in international policy-making forums and the global marketplace to shape a world where everyone has access to safe and sustainable products and services.
This is a six-month interim role paying £50,000 pro rata to be home based in United Kingdom and can be done full time or part time. There is potential for this role to be extended towards the end of the contract.
The post holder would be focused on developing income from large foundations in the UK and around the world, and in developing monetised relationships with ethical businesses to help grow the organisations programmes. They have previously developed relationships with large foundations but need someone who can over the course of the interim contract conduct prospect research, report on what the best partnerships to pursue, begin application process and develop a pipeline. With businesses they have not traditionally build monetised relationships and are looking to develop non-traditional partnerships on global programmes with world-wide businesses.
