Prospectus are pleased to be partnering with Paul Hamlyn Foundation as they seek to recruit a Grants Manager to join the Education and Learning through the Arts team. This role will work closely with a portfolio of organisations that Paul Hamlyn Foundation funds through the Teacher Development Fund and Arts-Based Learning Fund.
This role is being offered as a 12 months fixed term contract.
Paul Hamlyn Foundation (PHF) is one of the largest independent grant-making organisations in the UK. PHF helps people overcome disadvantage and lack of opportunity, so that they can realise their potential and enjoy fulfilling and creative lives. They have a particular interest in supporting young people and a strong belief in the importance of the arts and social justice, which is the golden thread that links all their work.
As Grants Manager you will be the main point of contact between funded organisations and the Paul Hamlyn Foundation. This role will assess applications for funding, write cases for support for the decision-making panels and will play a key role in recommending what funding and support PHF should commit to organisations. The post holder will also coordinate aspects of non-financial support provided to grantees, specifically the Teacher Development Fund Cohort Learning Programme, including convening, shared learning and specialist consultancy as well as coordinating and developing events.
To be considered for this role, you will have experience of working within an education setting, ideally at primary level, with specific knowledge of arts and cultural education. It is expected you will have good understanding of organisational dynamics and how they apply to developing business models, capacity and long-term sustainability. You will have understanding and experience of the grant-making process as well as the ability to analyse complex information quickly and effectively.
Please initially apply with a Word Copy of your CV - more information about the role and the organisation will be provided to suitable candidates.
