Prospectus is delighted to be collaborating with a fantastic health charity in the search for their new Research Grants Manager. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the Scientific & Medical Advisors and across the research and grants programme, with the purpose of ensuring that grant application processes are managed effectively.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating the grants strategy and on-going grants administration. The post holder will be responsible for supervising grants compliance and will be involved in internal communications, especially with the board of trustees, and will be communicating with external stakeholders such as MPs and other government officials.
The ideal candidate will be a solid research and grants professional with a proven record of spearheading projects and a considerable exposure of managing research budgets. You will be a self-starter with outstanding communication skills and numeracy. You will have the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders, effectively communicating research content and findings.
