The Group Audit Committee oversees the Royal College of Nursing Group's financial reporting processes, risk management systems, and accounts to ensure they are transparent and comply with the law. The Chair of the Group Audit Committee is a critical position providing independent and effective leadership whilst ensuring and the committee discharges its role in the governance of the RCN, scrutinising the risks and controls affecting every aspect of the organisation.

As Group Audit Committee Chair, you will join a motivated, committed and talented Audit Committee underpinned by strong governance. You will bring experience of operating at a strategic level in a similarly complex organisation and will have detailed understanding of the principles and practice of good corporate governance and the role of the Audit Committee in relation to the oversight of risk management.

RCN are seeking a Group Audit Committee Chair who will offer credibility, strong interpersonal skills and a strong alignment with the values and mission of the organisation.
