Prospectus is pleased to be partnering with an established, careers led university to recruit their Head of Admissions. This position is being offered on a 12 month fixed term contract and will lead on admissions within Student and Academic Services.
As the university's Head of Admissions, you will lead the development and implementation of the strategy and policy on admissions. The post holder will manage the operation, staff and process of both home, EU and international student admissions ensuring the delivery of an effective, timely and customer focused service which maximises student recruitment. The Head of Admissions will take responsibility for all aspects of the applicant journey and data across the university to include strategic management information, as well as processing, evaluation and reporting on data. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to utilise data analysis and enhance the university's admissions policies along with implementing and managing new efficient IT systems and processes.
To be considered for this role, you will be a proven professional with previous experience in a senior admissions post within higher education. You will have a strong understanding and working knowledge of all aspects of UK and international student admissions along with knowledge and experience of UCAS. With the ability to analyse, interpret and extract key content from complex information, you will also have experience managing large budgets and forecasting across teams. You will also have exceptional communication skills with the ability to work proactively and act with initiative together with strong MS Office skills.
