Head of Digital and IT
Flexible working practices considered, however you will be required to be in the Northwest a minimum of 3 days a week.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a recently appointed Chief Executive and play a key role in enabling more people to create a better future. Improving life chances through access to learning and employment, given the impact of Covid-19, is going to be more critical than ever before.
The development and improvement of our digital and technical capabilities is critical to our new strategy. This newly created role will be part of the senior leadership team at Career Connect reporting to the CEO and will have responsibility for enhancing our services through new digital delivery methods, and providing better tools and insight for our people through improved technology provision.
You will lead on developing an innovative Digital & IT strategy that delivers high quality digitally enabled services efficiently and ensures that new and emerging technologies are fully utilised across the charity to unlock benefits and reduce costs.
Our ideal candidate will have experience leading digital transformation in both a service and back office context, as well as experience managing external IT providers. You will bring a passion for new technologies, especially apps and social media, and the ability to inspire and enthuse colleagues towards a “digital first” culture, securing buy-in and commitment to a programme of transformation. Most importantly, you will have a passion for helping people to realise their potential.
