Job description

The Royal Medical Benevolent Fund is currently recruiting a Head of Fundraising and Communications to lead on the delivery of their fundraising and communications programme. This role is a 12 month maternity cover contract and will require a start date no later than mid-November to ensure a sufficient handover with the current postholder.

The successful applicant will develop the fundraising and communication strategy, and will grow and diversify fundraising streams to maximise all income generation opportunities. The post holder will have overall responsibility for all aspects of delivery, including meeting agreed income generation targets, developing marketing materials and overseeing social media channels. This role requires a collaborative approach to ensure success and the organisation have a whole host of fundraising products and programmes to get stuck into, that support and help all amazing health professionals in the UK.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable fundraising and communications experience, and a history of success in income generation across a range of revenue streams. The organisation are looking for a proactive, results-driven individual with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, and the confidence and ability to drive a strategy forward and inspire a team to success.
