Prospectus is pleased to be supporting one of the largest voluntary provider of HIV and sexual health services in the UK. Delivering local services across Great Britain, they provide support to people living with HIV and ensure their voices are heard whilst also campaigning, educating and helping individuals to achieve good sexual health through prevention programmes. Following an internal promotion, they are now looking to recruit Head of Services to oversee the strategic delivery of their national NHS Funded programmes.
As their Head of Services, you will provide leadership, strategic and operational support to a portfolio of Sexual health NHS Funded contacts across Norfolk, Suffolk, Milton Keynes, Essex, Bristol and Bedford. With responsibility solely for overseeing NHS contracts, you will work closely with service managers and staff teams within the relevant services and geographical areas to ensure contract compliance and effective delivery. This is a crucial role for the charity, and as such you will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to develop relationships and opportunities that supports their aims of wanting to be more ambitious and expand the portfolio of contracts they currently have through business development, co-production and partnership working.
To be considered, you'll possess demonstrable experience of service delivery and development at senior management level, combined with previous experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Due to the nature of this role, you will have significant knowledge of NHS structures and process, public sector commissioning within the UK and possess a proven track-recork of building a range of partnerships and negotiating contract terms. Finally, working knowledge of public health, national initiative and local drivers in sexual health and HIV services is desirable, although previous operational experience in the social care sector is essential.
