Prospectus is excited to be working with World Child Cancer as they recruit their new Head of Trusts and Statutory Fundraising. This full-time permanent position is based at their offices near Tower Bridge and pays a salary of circa £40,000 per annum.
World Child Cancer improves the diagnosis, treatment and support of children with cancer in low and middle-income countries and provides support to their families. They twin medical professionals in high-income countries with those from across ten countries in Africa, Asia and Central America. These partnerships lead to education and the sustainable knowledge of doctors and nurses in these impoverished countries. World Child Cancer also develops holistic care for families, support treatment costs, provide ward equipment and fund essential staff posts.
In this role you will be responsible for a portfolio of primarily UK based trusts and statutory grants with a target of £1.5m for the financial year, of which most has been pledged or delivered already. Your main task in this role will be to bolster the pipeline for the next three years and look at diversifying the size of grants they receive as most are currently six figures.

World Child Cancer is looking for a candidate who has the ability to translate complex, specialist information into clear and concise proposals for a variety of grant funders. You will also have a proven track record of setting and managing budgets, building strong lasting relationships, and working on multiple projects at once.
Please note, World Child Cancer is accepting CVs on a rolling basis.
