Our client, a leading London university, is currently looking to recruit a part time Health and Safety and Space Coordinator. This role is offered on a temporary basis and will be supporting the effective operations for the faculty, including effective management of risk, incidents investigation and office space utilisation
- Solid H&S coordination / management skills with the ability to ensure the organisation is fully H&S compliant
- Management / coordination of facilities and estates
- Office space management including office moves
- Risk management with the ability to develop and apply effective mitigating actions
This wide-ranging role will take responsibility for advising on and overseeing health and safety management within the Faculty, office space management and coordination of all estates and facilities aspects. The post holder will be the first point of contact for all new starters and leavers.
The successful candidate will hold a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.Previous experience of working in a similar post previously, ideally from the higher education sector.You will need to be a trouble shooter, and able to assess tasks quickly and accurately.This post is starting on a part time basis over 3 days week, and confirmed until November in the first instance. You will need to be available immediately or short notice to be considered.
