Job description

Our client, a prestigious London based conservatoire are looking to recruit a HR Information Systems Specialist on a permanent basis. The post will be expected to be onsite 2-3 days per week, but during busy project implementation times this can be carried out purely from home.   
   
Reporting into and working closely with the HR Manager, the purpose of the HRIS Specialist is to represent the HR team as the custodian of the new HR information system, iTrent, and all HR data. You will be the primary contact and expert within the HR team for all matters relating to iTrent. During the initial implementation stage, you will join the implementation project team, supporting the Project Manager, Payroll Manager and HR Manager to implement and embed iTrent across HR, Payroll, Finance and to the wider institution. Following implementation, you will lead on all matters relating to the system, maintaining its accuracy and effectiveness and ensuring the timely and accurate production of information on all aspects of the employee lifecycle. You will identify, review and implement HR processes accordingly, exploiting the system for maximum benefit. You will ensure all standard operating procedures, checklists and templates are up to date for all HR related processes. The HR Systems Analyst will lead on all aspects of data quality and will be a key user of the university's HR systems.   
    
To be successful, you will have significant HR systems experience gained within the Higher Education or public sector. You will have a strong understanding and working knowledge of the iTrent system interfaces and data conversion routine, along with strong Excel skills. You will be analytically minded, with high attention to detail and excellent communication skills.  Ability to handle sensitive and confidential issues including data privacy is also essential to the role.   
    
Please note interviews are looking to take place on the 1st December, with the earliest available start date. The organisation work a 32.5 hour week - 09.30am - 5pm (1 hour lunch)
