Prospectus is excited to be working with the health partners of one of London's leading higher education establishments to recruit a Major Gifts Officer International. The Major Gifts Officer - International will play a supporting role in the Major Gifts International team who secure high value donations through building relationships with individual wealthy philanthropists.
The position will involve being directly in contact with major donors and prospects, or their PAs, in order to arrange meetings/events etc. under guidance/direction of the fundraisers as part of the busy international trips schedule. The post holder will be involved in drafting internal briefing documents for the most senior individuals at the university, as well as developing proposals for prospective major donors.
To be considered for the role, you must have strong influencing and negotiating experience, communication and writing capabilities, as well as excellent project management and interpersonal skills. Ideally, you will have worked in a high performing fundraising or development team and will have an understanding of major gift fundraising.
This role could appeal to a high level administrator looking to bring real value to the organisation through building high level relationships with major and principal gift prospects, or indeed someone who wishes to aspire to be a major gift fundraiser and is looking to gain experience in a high performing major gift fundraising team.
