Job description

We are looking for a Marketing and Engagement Officer to work closely with our Marketing and Communications Manager to drive marketing activity across the organisation. You will support with data analysis to identify and develop new audiences and business opportunities, implementing compelling engagement activity across a variety of digital channels. The role will contribute to the planning, development and delivery of the marketing strategy, continually reviewing and recommending improvements to campaigns. As part of this the post holder will lead on the creation of monthly and quarterly marketing reports to ensure progress is visible for the wider team, leading on the production of regular Google Analytics reports and analysing data to provide insight. This broad role will also take responsibility for leading and driving content across all social media platforms and stewarding stakeholders across the organisation to contribute to the design and development of compelling content.

The next Marketing and Engagement Officer will have robust experience of marketing and/or audience engagement (B2B/ B2C) and a track record of leveraging communications to improve an organisation's social presence. With excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy and diverse workload the successful candidate will have brilliant interpersonal skills and thrive in communicating people's ideas. An interest and understanding of the digital landscape, emerging trends in web and social and the ability to use databases to segment and analyse audiences is essential. The role requires a creative, proactive individual who has excellent Microsoft Office Skills and someone who ideally has experience in Adobe Creative Suite apps and/or the ability to use pivot tables. Although not essential, given our focus as an organisation an interest in the not for profit sector is desirable.
