Prospectus is delighted to be supporting The UN Environment Programme World Conservation Monitoring Centre (UNEP-WCMC) in their search for a Marketing Officer. This is a new role designed to proactively work on all communications and marketing to raise their profile and visibility.
The overall purpose of this role is to support programme teams to develop and implement marketing plans for specific products, tools and services and to support the Events Officer to develop and implement bespoke marketing plans for priority global and local events. Key to success is ensuring marketing activities align with, and complement, the media and digital impact plan. You will also promote broad internal uptake of the key brand messages and lead on the day to day management of the social media platforms.
To be successful as a Marketing Officer it is essential to have demonstrable experience of developing and implementing marketing plans which have led to an increase in visibility and profile. You will have experience communicating complex ideas in an engaging way and thrive in managing all digital content. The right candidate will be highly organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities and demands.
