Prospectus is delighted to be working with FOUR PAWS to appoint their new Assistant to UK Country Director to provide high-level support to the Director and facilitate the delivery of FOUR PAWS UK's animal welfare mission.
This is a pivotal post responsible for supporting the Director by helping manage their time, diary and priorities, whilst liaising with multiple internal and external players. You will provide administrative, project and admin support including organising, scheduling and preparing papers for FOUR PAWS UK Board meetings, as well as ensuring the Senior Management Team meetings are effectively organised. The post holder will manage the Director's briefings and commission and coordinate with colleagues across the organisation to ensure that the Director UK is fully briefed for all meetings and travel. The post holder will also coordinate and collate content for monthly reports, quarterly reports, including collation of submissions from various teams, following up on actions to ensure they've been done and other reporting as required.
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant with experience of supporting C-Suite level executives or Directors. To be successful, you will draw on your excellent writing skills to help manage the Director's inbox and you will be able to organise meetings, spearhead research projects and manage adhoc administrative tasks as needed by the Director. You will have exceptional organisation and interpersonal skills, as well as excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage and nurture key relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. You will understand confidentiality and the importance of having an appropriate communication style to represent FOUR PAWS in the Director's absence. You will have demonstrable experience of office-based administrative work and you will be confident and able to work on own initiative. It would be desirable - but not essential - to have experience within the charity sector.
