Prospectus is delighted to be working with a global children's charity to recruit a Programme Management Specialist. This role is temporary initially, with a view that a successful candidate could take on the permanent position eventually.
The role will manage the effective delivery of a portfolio of defined projects as assigned by the Programme Manager.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Supporting the effective delivery of all project activities by building the capacity and skills of programme country office staff to effectively manage and report on institutionally funded projects
- Facilitating effective consortium partner working relationships and programmatic learning
- Providing information and analysis to staff in London on projects and participate in regional processes as appropriate
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with, and representing the organisation to institutional donors within the UK and in Country Offices as appropriate
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Programmes/projects capacity within international development.
