Prospectus is pleased to be partnering UK Youth, a leading charity that exists to ensure all young people are equipped to thrive and are empowered to contribute at every stage of their lives. They work with others to ensure that the youth sector is strengthened, supported, and that provision is youth-led, evidence-informed and delivers high-quality outcomes. They are now looking to recruit a Project Manager to lead one of their Employability Projects. This position is offered on a six-month fixed term contract.
As one of their Project Managers, you will be responsible for project managing one of their UK Youth Programmes and will work in partnership with their corporate funder to deliver an employability programme that aims to empower young people with the confidence, skills and experience needed to feel ready for the workplace. Reporting to the Head of Delivery, you will deliver the project to a consistently high quality, ensuring it runs smoothly and effectively, within budget whilst meeting the project and organisation output and outcomes.
To be successful, you will have demonstrable project management experience within the youth and/or employability sector. This is a pivotal role for UK Youth, and as such you must have experience of facilitation and training teams to deliver content ideally to young people or in the youth sector combined with strong knowledge of quality assurance and monitoring and evaluation methods. The ability to effectively manage internal and external stakeholders is essential, as is the understanding and empathy of the current issues facing young people.
