Our client, who are renowned for their research, postgraduate studies and continuing education in public and global health are recruiting for a temporary Quality & Academic Standards Officer.
As the Quality & Academic Standards Officer, you will support the portfolio of the Head of Quality & Academic Standards and Deputy Head of Quality and Academic Standards (Quality Manager), and be responsible for administering a number of processes and procedures for the establishments academic portfolio. This will include administering a number of processes and procedures for both taught and research degree courses; contributing to the development, maintenance and implementation of policies and procedures in order to support the delivery of the academic portfolio and ensuring the establishment is in line with regulatory requirements. You will provide secretariat support for committees, and ad hoc working groups as directed by the Head of Quality and Academic Standards. This includes proactively drafting agendas and papers, taking minutes and ensuring that actions are managed and advanced.
In order to be considered, you will have experience working in a similar role supporting and working with senior academic staff, promoting academic quality and standards and preparing reports procedures and guidance documents. Experience of undertaking all aspects of committee servicing and knowledge and understanding of the quality assurance framework for higher education in the UK. You will need to be available to start as soon as possible.
